Like Melinda and Jan, I use Goodreads to track my reading. Unless I know the reviewer, I ignore the reviews. I trust reviews and recommendations from authors I read and respect. I was happier with it before Ammy bought it out, but I do find it useful. I'd hate to lose it.

I also use Goodreads to keep track of my reading and what others are reading. I will usually look at the reviews of a book after I have finished it to see if I agree with them or they agree with me. I would hate for Goodreads to go away!

Wow! So much to take in in this week’s The Book Tide! I’ve spent a very enjoyable hour with The Tide and a cup of tea this morning and feel that I’ve only scratched the surface of what’s been offered in this week’s post. The Elizabeth Barrett Browning book and the Jonna Mendez book have both been added to my TBR list - thanks! As for Goodreads, I use it mainly to keep track of what I’m reading. I have left a handful of reviews over the years but I don’t rely on the reviews when trying to decide what to read next. I look forward to rereading The Book Tide over the next few days and finding all the thought provoking bits I missed the first time around.

Me - I'll be your tribute.

Full disclosure: My archery skills are a bit rusty, but I can sling snark pretty far.
